I've had mine anodised so paint thickness not an issue.

Thanks, I'm curious why nobody is just getting them made from stainless to avoid the issue of paint thickness? I would personally rather have unpainted stainless ones anyway.


I will look into this for you guys, I can get them cut out of any steel just not sure on the affects between the metals.

I need to get these SOON. New bike, keep the miles on the clock accurate. I would think SS would not read well being non-magnetic. But, you can get some that has less nickle content.
