Another ABS rings order was placed yesterday for 25 sets, I expect delivery on the 4/10 they will go on EBay as soon as we have them in our hands.

I realise the speedos are off anywhere from 10=14% - driving down my local freeway when I/m running an indicated 72 in a 60 mph area cars are passing me right and left even the little old ladies in the right lane -

So, why do I care ? I don't - at first I was overworked about it but now I am just living with it - I go the pace of the other cars in the urban areas where the law enforcement live - in the rural areas where I ride most of the time on the twisiie 2 lane raods who cares? I don't care what the speeds are on the bike and as long as I/m enjoying myself who cares?

I used to worry about all those little quirks on every bike I owned - not now - I just ride this bike and enjoy it - best bike I've ever owned bar none

I initially had this thought but soon got sick of continually doing the rough calculation in my head every time you check your speed.
This is especially a pain here in Australia where we have speed limits (kph) 40,50,60,70,80,90,100 and 110 sometimes all with a 10km distance and times where there are no other vehicles to gauge your speed then a over zealous police force thrown into the mix.
The cost of the modified rings is cheaper than a fine (and loss of points) for a miscalculation.

Replaced mine this weekend. Dead nuts on now. Thanks, Kev! It's nice not having to think about calculating my speed.

Thanks for the feedback guys, we will keep on producing the ABS rings until the interest dies off.

For the guys that want a set that are on EBay. http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ferdiev123/m ... 7675.l2562

Right after I got my speedo rings, I broke my ankle in a track crash, so they have been sitting on the shelf while I healed. Finally installed them and tried them today. Spot on to my GPS! Thanks a ton Kev!

What top speeds have you guys seen on the dash post abs ring replacement?

Not that it matters in the slightest on a naked bike, but for fun at least.

The 1290 ABS rings are on EBay no problem to ship to the US, the 1290 rings are not selling anymore so this will more than likely be the last batch so best get in & get yours before they all gone, http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/ferdiev123/m ... 7675.l2562

+1 Just ordered my set. There's too many damn speed cameras around here to be guessing.
Cheers Kev.

Wouldn't you be more on the safe side if you kept what you have that is always reading a higher speed than what you are actually traveling?? :?

It's depreciating your bike as the mileage is higher than it really is!!
