Finally fitted the rings, at first my GPS and Speedo readings were out by 4 or 5kms, in the end I got sick of the GPS so fitted a bicycle Computer to the bike
and speeds are within 1km hour so all good Thanks Kev :) ( cycle computer based on wheel Circumferences so I know its 100% correct ).

Its been funny riding around corners at a speed I am happy with, then having a quick look at the speedo and thinking, bugger so that’s the true speed.

Thanks for your feedback mate, I agree it does feel strange having a Speedo that now reads within 1kph to true speed.

The first round of ABS rings have all sold out & have now placed a second order for 25 sets.

This is probably a silly question, but what would happen if you blocked off one or more of the slots on the stock rings? Would it freak the ABS and/or the speedometer computer, or would it just read less slots per revolution as the new plates do?

It throws the timing out between the wheels & the confuses the electronics', as it counts the slots & the timing between each slot.

Guys of late I have had so many guys PM me & asking for the CAD files, I think it is a bit unfair to ask guys as they are still for sale & at a very cheap price & I have them in stock.

I got my ABS Rings installed today! Very Happy with the results! Thanks Kevxtx!

Here are a few before/after photos.

70 MPH before the rings were installed. - exactly 10% off! It's a bit hard to read, but the GPS speed is 63 MPH.

Image

70 MPH after the rings were installed (notice the change in RPMs). The speedometer is about 1/2 MPH off. It will click up to the next MPH just before the GPS does so. That's about as good as it gets!

Image

Installing these rings also had an affect on the odometer reading.

Before the installation, the odometer read high by 3.8%, or 103.8 miles at 100 miles on the GPS (lighting was bad, so I had to take 2 pictures). Here are the numbers to do the math.

Image

Image

After the installation, the odometer reads low by about 4.7% (rounded up), or 95.3 miles at 100 miles on the GPS. Here are the numbers to do the math. I don't understand the difference in the odometer reading. I thought it would've gone down by 3.8%.

Keep an eye out on Ebay as my brother in law will be selling these rings from now on as I just have the time to run around. Another batch of 25 was ordered today & will be on EBay very soon http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/-/201437315871

Hi Kev, keen on a set but the ebay link has "ended". Any idea when new ones will be coming up?
